Peter Wildeblood(RIP): my hero; a rare book; he was the only openly homosexual member of the Woolfenden Committee(pre legality of male same sex acts) and was sent to prison for homosexual “activity”
And, so, I curate these vestiges/remnants/traces: linking our gay past with our gay/queer present and future; I MINE them out of history(to paraphrase Benjamin) so that they live into the continuum that is the present and future; I recapture, recuperate, repair…Not quite time regained but an attempt therat
