“THE PERFECT CAFE”: A POEM OF PSYCHOGEOGRAPHY. BY STEVEN BENSON

Drift

(Derive)-

Ok it WAS

Planned-Into…a

Haven of

Comfort

Solace

Belonging and…

Espresso!

(Blended perfectly).

….

Writing…

Reading…

“Christmas

Decorations

Keep

Falling  on my

Head”

(It doesnt quite

Scan)….

Different types of

Seating:

Espresso Bar,

Pew-like

Bench,

Tables and

Arty Books…

What more

Could I want?………

The mind’s

Need for

Solace and

Belonging is

Mirrored by the

PHYSICAL

Landscape

Of the

Cafe within

The

Urban Wilderness

That is

Duke street

Liverpool.

Subtopia

Therefore;

But also a

Utopia.

{With thanks to the perfect cafe, Duke Street Espresso bar, for inspiring this poem!}
